We are looking for a Rockstar IT Helpdesk engineer who loves to solve technical problems, asks lots of questions, and has excellent listening and communication skills. As an IT Helpdesk Engineer, you’ll bring your expertise to deliver exceptional technical support. You will get to work with leading technologies and systems while having a dedicated team of leaders and peers to support you. You’ll report to the IT Manager.

 

Help Desk Skills and Qualifications

  • Tech savvy and proven strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems remotely.
  • Knowledge with both PC and Mac operating systems is advantage. 
  • Experience with network repairs and analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to help employees fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience.
  • Understanding security is advantage. 
  • Analytical and logical thinker with out-of-the-box ideas.
  • Self managed with project and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of gsuite or office365.
  • Proficiency in  English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Support-oriented and cool-tempered.
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines

Duties:

  • Providing end-user support, resolving technical issues and providing technical assistance for all operating systems and applications.
  • Providing in-person and remote support through use of direct messaging, emails or remote access.
  • Providing new employees with required hardware and appropriate access to the company’s computer systems. Onboarding and offboarding.
  • Give essential IT training to newcomers.
  • Ensure that architecture principles and technology standards are consistently applied and updated as appropriate. 
  • Supporting management with IT requests and potential new implementations.
  • Managing access permissions to company’s resources.
  • Do basic to advanced security investigation and diagnosis.

Certifications:

A+ / Network+ certification - Recommended.

Other IT certifications - advantage.
